How it works at The Classic Tournament

Teams can be comprised of ladies and gentlemen. Also, teams should have participants from their alumni chapter, group, golf club and/or civic organization. However, to ensure each chapter can participate, we will allow participants that are not affiliated with a university to be sponsored by the Alumni Chapter (this is at your discretion). Teams will face off in an intense, team bracket to determine the true champion.

Competitive Format

• 4 vs. 4 head-to-head match play.
• Seeding is based USGA handicap index.
• Spotlight Holes include: 
  • Par 3 – Closest to the Pin (bonus or penalty strokes).
  • Par 4 – Putting Challenge 
  • Par 5 – Get there in two

Winning team will have a donation sent on their behalf to a local non-profit organization that furthers the game of golf
